Para esta temporada, Central necesita de un plantel con jugadores comprometidos con la situación. Este es el panorama actual de los jugadores de Rosario Central. Quienes siguen, quienes se van. Además, los posibles refuerzos, y algunos nombres en carpeta quienes podrían sumarse al plantel de Mostaza Merlo en las próximas horas.
Diego Braghieri: Seguirá en Central si no llegan ofertas concretas.
Guillermo Burdisso: Tampoco tiene ofrecimientos formales. Los directivos intentarán convencer al defensor para que se comprometa a continuar en el Club.
Emilio Zelaya: Salvo Merlo, todos ven su ciclo cumplido. El mismo jugador tampoco quiere continuar. Central tazó su pase en 800.000 dólares. Se aleja el interés de Estudiantes.
Andrés Franzoia: No se le renovará vínculo. Cobra un contrato millonario. Existe un interés concreto de Arsenal de Sarandí.
Jonatan Gómez: Merlo le pidió que continúe para ser el enlace del equipo. El jugador manifestó su interés por emigrar por el hostigamiento en la ciudad.
Jorge Bava: Seguirá en Central. Se hará un nuevo préstamo por una temporada y con una opción de compra.
Santiago García: El Mellizo fue venvido al Plermo de Italia en 1.200.000 dólares.
Gervasio Núñez: Practica con el plantel. Scpeciale fue claro: “Ni él quiere jugar en Central ni nosotros queremos que él juegue acá”. No hay nada cerrado con Quilmes.

Roberto Guizasola: En las próximas horas se cerrará un préstamo por el lateral derecho peruano.
Diego González: Hay un fuerte interés por el jugador. Central tiene todo acordado con Lanús. Falta el sí del jugador. Está Huracán en el medio de la negociación.
Miguel Samudio: Central hizo una oferta concreta por un préstamo del volante de Libertad de Paraguay. No es nada sencillo.
Silvio Bosco Frontán: Fue ofrecido por Ricardo Canals, ex jugador Canalla y representante del jugador. Mediapunta de Peñarol de Uruguay.
