El Tula. El héroe del bombo. Hijo de Perón y Central. Dueño del sonido tribal que sacudía a la hinchada con más sentimiento del país. Y marcaba un rimo devastador “Vamos carajo… Que viva Perón y que Viva Central…”, pedía a los gritos. Y el bombo sonaba intenso. Carlos Pascual Tula fue uno de los emblemas de la gloria iniciada a finales de los 60 hasta mediados de los 70. Jefe de la hinchada y bombisto oficial. Golpeaba sin pudor el tiento de su instrumento hasta enrojecer. Hoy con 60 años difunde un curriculum ligado a la historia de Central y del peronismo. “Sin el bombo no soy el mismo” – dice el Tula. “Es como una parte de mi. Yo crecí con él. El bombo es parte de mi identidad…”
-¿Cómo empezó su participación con la hinchada?
- En el año 50 empecé a ir a la cancha. Ahí me hice hincha de Central. Yo naci en Arroyito, Juan José Paso 721. Está la casa todavía un poco abandonada. Mi viejo era radical, muy gorila. Y yo era peronista. Cuando me llevó a la cancha y vi que la hinchada era peronista y cantaba la marcha de Perón, me hice de Central rápidamente. Un 17 de octubre me escapé para ir a Buenos Aires (el tren era gratis) y ahí había un tipo que tocaba el bombo y se lo pedí y apenas los toque me cautivó y no lo largué más. Después seguí con la hinchada de Central y no paré.
-¿Por qué se retiró de la hinchada de Central?
- En 1975 agarré y quise juntar a las hinchadas para terminar con la violencia ¿te acordás? Quise hacer el campeonato interhinchas donde el partido preliminar sea jugado por la hinchada de los equipos. Hacer la casa del hincha y otros proyectos. Estábamos la hinchada de Central, de San Lorenzo, de Rácing, Chacarita, Vélez, éramos un montón. Pero imagínate, un tipo como yo que quería unir a las hinchadas. Al final me tumbaron. Me mandaron a la cana y me comí un garrón. Encima fue en mi gobierno (el peronismo), imagínate lo que me comí con los milicos, yo deje de ir a la cancha en 1976, cuando caímos. Después fui a todos los mundiales.
-¿Qué relación tenía con las otras hinchadas?
- El Abuelo me respetaba. Yo conocí al jefe que tenia la hinchada de Boca, la más grande del país, antes del Abuelo. Quique, el carnicero. Con él teníamos una buena relación.
- ¿Qué particularidades tenia la barra en ese momento?
- Antes tomábamos vino, chupábamos de todo, pero ahora en la hinchada hay falopa… y eso la hace más agresiva. Nos agarrábamos a trompadas a puño limpio. Pero ahora hay chuchillos, revólveres, es todo más pesado. Antes no había ese enfrentamiento.
- ¿Qué diferencias además de lo violento encuentra entre esa hinchada y la de ahora?
- La hinchada era amateur y ahora profesional. La época de la globalización marca un avance. Eran tiempos distintos. Yo jugué mi vida varias veces por central, tengo una pierna media para la mierda porque una vez volviendo de un partido de Central y River me la pegué contra un puente en Palermo. No teníamos plata y viajábamos todos los fines de semana. No nos daban entradas. Nos Colábamos en todas las canchas del país. Yo me la conozco a todas. Y encima arriesgabas tu vida. Yo viajaba en el fuelle del tren, arriba del techo para pasar al guardia. Ninguno de los presidentes nos daba plata como puede pasar ahora. Nos chupeteamos todo pero no había falopa. El hincha es el que va a la cancha. Los que hacen quilombo en la cancha son un claro producto de lo que pasa en la sociedad. Pibes marginados con muchos quilombos en sus familias, en la casa no pueden estar. Van a la cancha y se desahogan, se expresan con bronca… Son victimizados y terminan victimizando.
-¿Se acuerda del primer bombo que tuvo?
-Si, como no. Una vez estábamos y apareció la hinchada de Vélez y se armó candombe (agarrarse a las piñas), y ahí le robamos el bombo. Entonces cuando policía quiso recuperar el bombo, lo tiramos al club Regatas. Y un par de días después fui al club y le dije al portero que éramos de Buenos Aires y que nos habían robado el bombo y lo venia a buscar y allí me lo dieron y me lo quedé. Después tuve un montón más. Ese fue mi primer bombo.
-¿Era un tipo bravo cuando lideraba la hinchada de Central?
-No, yo pienso que me seguían a mí por el bombo. Salía de mi casa solo y me iba caminando a la cancha y a la cuadra tenía a diez tipo siguiéndome. Y cuando llegábamos éramos como doscientos. Muchos aprovechaban que estaba yo y se querían colar.
-Le imprimía al bombo un ritmo muy tribal…
-Si, yo tenía un ritmo que le di. Un tum, tum, tum. Llegaba al estadio y todo el mundo se callaba para escucharme. Primero iba a la tribuna de las mujeres y las hacia cantar, como era peronista, la marchita a las compañeras. En tiempo de resistencia peronista, yo hice la resistencia en la cancha. Desde que estuve yo desde 55 hasta 1976 se cantó la Marcha Peronista. Era la resistencia que se hacía. Y todos los cantos que había en la cancha yo le metía Perón, la vuelta de Perón, todo lo que estaba prohibido.
-¿Cómo lo conocío a Perón?
-Yo estaba obsesionado por conocerlo pero no tenía un peso y se me ocurre pedir ayuda a través de la televisión para ir a España. Fui a Canal 5, estaba José Pardal y él me dio el espacio. En la nota dije que quería regalarle el bombo al general Perón en España y que los peronistas y no peronistas debían ayudarme. Debían firmar el bombo y con cada firma, darme algo de plata. Y con esa guita me fui. Viaje en un barco en tercera con el bombo repleto de firmas de hinchas de Central, jugadores, sindicatos… Y llegue a la casa. Golpeé la puerta y me estaban esperando Perón y Rucci. Cuando lo vi al general se me aflojaron las piernas, quede medio boludo y ahí Rucci le dice a Perón: “Este compañero es de la hinchada de Central, un peronista que hizo muchos sacrificios para conocerlos”. Y el General me dice “Yo tenía mentas suya, m´ijo…”. Ese fue el año más grande de mi vida. Lo conocía a Perón y Central salió campeón. Perón me autografió una foto a mi y otra a la hinchada de Central. Cuando volví pegué en el bombo la foto de Perón. Fuimos a la cancha de Ñuls, porque la cancha de Central estaba suspendida, y me llevaban en andas y ahí empecé a cantar una canción que yo había inventado “VAMOS MUCHACHOS, QUEREMOS GOLES, PARA ESTE BOMBO QUE ES INMORTAL, PORQUE ESTE BOMBO LE DIO PERON, LO DIO PERON PARA LA BARRA DE CENTRAL”.
- ¿Era especial la historia con Ñuls?
- Cuando estaba yo en la hinchada, en Ñuls eran tipos muy finos. Muy pitucos, ni siquiera gritaban y alentaban muy poco. Ahora cambió un poco. Ellos eran buenitos y nosotros los malos, los negros peronistas que gritaban todo el día.
- ¿Los clásicos tenían un sabor especial?
- Cuando iba a la cancha, es como los boxeadores, mientras están en el ring se matan, pero cuando la pelea termina todos son amigos… A mí me pasaba igual; en el partido era la batalla, pero afuera era respetado y querido por todos.
